Joonas Vesterlund, 33, has been appointed as Managing Director of Milworks OÜ as of 1st of April 2021 to develop defence sector services for the Estonian market. He succeeds Ingvar Pärnamäe, who has decided to resign from this position in order to pursue another career. Pärnamäe will continue as a member of the Council of Milworks OÜ.

Vesterlund has a solid experience in defence sector and has worked in Milworks OÜ since 2018 – currently as the Head of Operations and member of Management Board.

Milworks OÜ is a subsidiary of Patria and a part of its International Support Partnerships business unit. Patria owns 60% of Milworks OÜ and 40% is owned by Mootor Grupp. Milworks OÜ provides services for the defence and security sector offering life cycle support services for heavy and armored vehicles, weapon systems and other military equipment in Estonia. The company provides maintenance and repair works for the Estonian Defence Forces' XA-180, XA-188 and CV90 as well as other military vehicles in Tallinn, Tapa and in Võru.
